When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive- to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love." -Marcus Aurelius

I'm glad to say the new student orientation today went very well! We had a couple of improvements we can make for next week, but overall it was very smooth. As the director, it was my job to run back and forth between the student and parent session in order to explain my role on campus as well as important information for the students to fill out before arriving. Going back and forth around six times or so, there was one point where I was literally out of breath and it was a bit unprofessional while trying to talk to the parents in their session. I always thought I was in very good shape, but maybe this was an indication I could try to hit the gym a bit more often! Usually I'm a "run outside" kind of guy, but with all of the rain we have been getting recently, it might be best to test out the gym and see what all there is to be used!
I'm going to try to spare the moral of the story being take some time to breathe since I have gone to that message multiple times over the past few weeks. I'm just glad I'll be able to relax a bit this weekend and regain a little energy while I'm off work. It's hard to imagine I have only been at my job officially for a week, there is still so much I have gotten done it is unbelievable! I think I might even end this post here tonight. I don't have too much left to share, so I'll leave you with the normal send off! Goodnight all :)
Question Time: How often do you work out? One of my RDs is a big gym person, I used to run all the time and haven't really done it recently though. I still try to walk everywhere to keep up my energy. If the weather is nice tomorrow, maybe I might go for a run!
About the video: For those that don't know, Kristin Chenoweth is one of my favorite musical artists! She is primarily famous and popular from her work in the Broadway play, "Wicked" as well as guest appearances in random movies and the TV show, "Glee". I really enjoy her talents because she is just a tiny little thing, but she can do so much with just a few breaths of air! Here is one of my favorite performances with her and the Boston Pops! Enjoy :)
