A flower cannot blossom without sunshine, and man cannot live without love."
-Max Muller

Here we come across a topic that I really can't do very much with. I feel like the list has done a good job over the past 70 or so words, but I guess it only makes sense that some of the words really don't mean very much to me on certain days. I guess I could talk about how people are like flowers. They require plenty of support during their early sapling stages and as they grow, they become stronger with time. Of course there will always be heavy winters or harsh winds that sweep through the gardens that we sow, but I've always found that the most dedicated flowers will always return to bloom again in the Spring. Through perseverance, strength, and always orienting ourselves toward a source of warmth and love, we will be able to spread our petals out as far as they can go and catch as much sun as possible.
Question Time: How have you grown today? Today I ran my first staff meeting with just the RDs. It was a very good day to be with my group and just have conversations about what was going on and how we can plan for the next academic year. I feel like this position overall is a fantastic opportunity to venture into new areas and possibly capture some new sources of light that I didn't even knew existed! Well tonight I guess I wasn't too much in the talkative mood, but I'm happy with the analogy, so I leave you with the traditional video and I wish you goodnight :)
About the Video: Six years ago, Nick Pitera amazed us with his rendition of Disney's classic song, "A Whole New World." Singing both the male and female parts remarkably, Nick charmed his way into many hearts and really made a name for himself. He has been on many news shows and talk shows such as Ellen DeGeneres, where he explained to his viewers that he was given a great gift of still being able to sing in a higher register and was able to switch between the two sounds freely. Since then, Nick has conquered many feats and is currently working for Pixar as an animator who sometimes throws his vocal talents into his work. Today, Nick has really shown how much he as grown as an individual as well as a professional where he made a full circle and posted a special tribute to the Aladdin Broadway musical in New York. I've included both his start and where he is now, enjoy :)
