You must be the change you wish to see in the world." -Mahatma Gandhi

The video I've chosen to share with you today is a bit longer than most videos I have posted, so I'm going to try to keep the reading part a bit shorter to counter-balance the post!
I came across this art picture the other day and really thought the concept was very beautiful. Taylor James is the studio which created it, you can find more images like this here. I thought it was a clever idea to represent the concept of metamorphosis as we break out of our old shells and become something new and different! Progress is truly what the human race is about and it is necessary to redefine ourselves on a regular basis.
As far as redefining is concerned, I have decided to further my knowledge in cooking and baking. Over the past few years, I have collected a fair amount of cook books and had not once really used them. Now that I am better off financially (at least better off than I was while I was in school), I have more time to test out different recipes and build up a collection of spices and other cooking ingredients. As I make this change toward cooking healthier (more balanced meals) and saving a little more money now that I'm making things from scratch instead of the microwavable pre-made stuff, it is my hope to try a new recipe every week or so. This week was the first time I had ever made a panini and completed the meal with fudge brownies! Although this was probably one of the easier meals I could have made, it was a very good meal to start with! As I test new recipes and continue my mission to grow my cooking skills further, I will try to keep you up to date with my new projects and cooking attempts! Goodnight all!
Question time: What skill would you like to develop and grow?
About the video: As far as the ever-changing world around us goes, there is no better representation than the ride at Disney World, the Carousel of Progress. As I have gotten older, this has quickly become one of my favorite rides at the park. Here is a full video of the ride if you have never seen it, but be careful, that song WILL get stuck in your head. Enjoy :)
