I have officially finished my final paper in grad school! As of right now, it is looking like I am going to get straight A's again! I try not to brag about these things, but I have worked very hard to keep straight A's for my entire grad experience and it is looking like I will pull this feat off (pending the grade on this final 48 page paper).
With it being almost 3am since I was working late on finishing my paper, I am going to try to keep this post short and talk about my ideas for the future of this website.
I feel like not enough people realize that we are open for business. The monthly poll last month got three votes (thank you for the three that voted), and the visitor traffic on the homepage was higher than I thought it would be, but not nearly high enough for what it should be. I will have two weeks of down time before I go to Piedmont and I'm hoping to really put some work into this website when I'm not organizing and getting ready to go back to work.
Although these ideas are not completely set in stone, here are some short/long term goals I have for this site.
- Create a list of themes for the bulletin board page
- Update the slideshows
- Add more program ideas
- Buy the Luminstruct domain?!?
- Buy video equipment and make a "How to" video series on Youtube
- Explore more social media outlets
- Try to get a partner to help me with this project (let me know if you are interested)
- and much much more!
As you can see, there are some very exciting times ahead of us and I know it will be well worth it in the end. In the meantime I will continue to keep this blog project running (we are on the 41st day!) Considering the fact that I have not purchased the video needs for the Luminstruct website yet and do not have a good video to fit this comment's theme, here is a video that was uploaded today that just made me laugh, enjoy :)
