"The best way to look stylish on a budget is to try second-hand, bargain hunting, and vintage." - Orlando Bloom
Hello world! If you are new, welcome to the Luminstruct blog! My name is Mark and I am currently working on a "365-Word Project" by posting reflections on various words every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Today's word is "Vintage". A Date to Remember A few months back, my significant other and I went to one of the old timey Vintage photo booths you usually see at a mall or about 5 locations in Helen, GA and we had a really good time! Here is a quick review of my experience: |
Description: Take a trip back in time and pose as a bank robber, cowboy/girl, union/confederate soldier, saloon girl, or southern gentleman/lady. Dress in vintage apparel and pose in rustic settings.
Price: Approximately $15-$30
(It depends how many people you have, how many photos you print, if you get frames, etc.)
Time: The whole experience took less than 15 minutes!
Overall Grade: B+
Overall it was a fun experience! Be aware it is not an "entire afternoon" kind of activity. The place we went had the outfits set up where you slipped on the sleeves and had the back velcroed on (we had our clothes on under the outfits). It will most likely take you a longer time figuring out which photo you wish to use than the actual "photo-shoot time". At the end of the day, you get a fun souvenir and great memories! It's worth the cost :)
