A soul mate could be a best friend, a romantic significant other, a family member, or maybe someone you have never met!

So today was hall closing as well as my graduation from my masters program, so I think it is safe to say I am exhausted! I will save talking about my graduation experience tomorrow since I think it fits into the "tear" theme better.
Yesterday I was having a conversation with some of my RAs about the concept of soul mates. I believe they exist, but not necessarily in the way that most people believe. When I was younger, one of my favorite car games was "20 questions", although it is very fun playing with a group of people, I had found a handheld single player version of the game where you try to trick the computer into guessing the wrong item after they ask you 20 questions. Interested to see how the game would react, I thought of one of my best friends and the ball guessed that I was thinking about a soul mate. It really got me to start considering what exactly a soul mate is.
Many people believe there is one soul mate for everyone, people usually call them "the one" or "Mr/Ms. Right", but I believe there can be many different soul mates in our lives. A soul mate is a person who you don't have to change for and everything will just "click" when they are around. Whereas many people believe this will usually end up being a wife or husband, I always thought it included this role as well as included other people in your lives where things just "click". There are many people in the world and because of this, I believe there are many different types of soul mates out there for everyone. A soul mate could be a best friend, a romantic significant other, a family member, or maybe someone you have never met! What do you think a soul mate is? About the video: Since I consider a soul mate being someone who loves you just the way you are without changing, I thought this cover was a perfect way to finish the post. Sam Tsui is a talented musician on YouTube and I firmly believe this cross between Bruno Mars and Billy Joel is simply beautiful!
