No trail has come to you but what is human. God is faithful and will not let you be tried beyond your strength; but with the trail he will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to bear it."- 1Co. 10:13

When it comes to personal strength, I have always found it matters more to focus on the strength of your heart before your own physical strength. Maybe I only say that because I am a weakling when it comes to upper body strength! But I digress, normally I am not the kind of guy who quotes bible passages, but 1st Corinthians, chapter 10, verse 13 is one of my favorite lines found in the bible. Shown above, I always found a comfort in these words and was glad to know that I am only given the tasks in life that God thinks I can handle.
I have been very fortunate in my life to not come across many hardships, but sometimes strength is an invisible battle as we blaze new trails and bring light into this world. I'm going to try to not sound too egotistical with this statement, but I always have felt that I have a special place in this world and I am here for a purpose... I know I am meant for greatness. I'm still trying to figure out what obstacles await for me to overcome in order to fill this life's purpose, but when they do, I hope to be ready for them. It was mother Theresa who said "I know God won't give me anything I can't handle, I just wish He didn't trust me so much." I always thought this was a comical line and maybe I have even gained a hint of confidence once I found out that such an amazing person still struggled sometimes and was still able to stay strong.
When it comes to hard tasks to overcome, I am a firm believer that people are sent into our lives to help us for a reason. When I meet someone new, I typically try to get to know them and find their own personal strength and drive behind their actions. You never know if this new person in your is meant to strengthen you, for you to strengthen them, or for a mutual benefit, so always try to get to know someone on a more personal level. I am not trying to say use them for their resources and try to figure out what you can get out of them, but realize most positive impacts are not always seen immediately. Everyone needs some help along the journey, so never say no to a helping hand.
About the video: I feel like this post has been jumping around all over the place, so why not stop in this section. There were a number of different videos I was considering when thinking about needing strength on the journey. Originally I was going to play the song "strength for the journey", but I figured that would be a little too obvious and I had already put heavy religious tones in this post. So then I realized I had not put in one of my favorite adaptations to a Disney song and was very surprised I hadn't used it yet on previous posts. Here is "Go the Distance" from the movie 'Hercules' sung by Michael Bolton. In my opinion I think it is one of the most beautiful versions of the song and has a very strong message which I keep with me. Strength should be measured by the strength of my heart and once I find my final destination, I can only hope it will be in your arms :) Goodnight all!
