- Red/Green/Black Construction Paper - 1 Lid - 1 Pipe Cleaner - 1 Pencil - 1 Glue Stick - 1 Black Sharpie - Scissors |
How to make it:
1. Collect the materials you will need. 2. Use lid to cut out black & red circles. Cut out additional small black circle. 3. Cut a wedge out of the red circle and paste black & red circles together. 4. Cut out green leaf shape. 5. Cut off two small pipe cleaners for antennas. 6. Glue small black circle and antennas on larger circles and leaf. 7. Use sharpie to write student's name and add spots. |

October is usually the month when the "honeymoon phase" for roommates wear off and with the combination of the stress of midterms and the change of weather, you start seeing roommate conflicts pop up. You can either play the roommate game (found in the program area of our website) or sit down with them and fill out a roommate contract (under resources), but being able to remind them of the positive traits of their roommate and being able to confront the negative teaches students how to problem solve and how to get along with others who are different than them!
